About the role

We’re looking for a Vineyard Operator to join our team at Whitlands in north-eastern Victoria. This opportunity will allow you to build & grow a career in a sophisticated, global brand and work outdoors in a friendly work environment. As part of the team, you’ll develop your skills further with good training and task diversity and have a hands-on role in the daily development and upkeep of the vineyards (with the support of relevant machinery and support from contractors during pruning season).

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience in, viticulture/horticulture/farming and tractor operations and agricultural machinery, with a genuine enthusiasm for wine and viticulture. Knowledge regarding irrigation system is advantageous.
• Flexibility, sound communication skills, a willingness to learn and be part of a strong and cohesive team.
• The ability to work overtime subject to seasonal requirements.
• A strong understanding of work health and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license.
