Pike and Joyce is a well known Tasting Room which provides one of the most stunning views, with a 180 degree outlook over the Adelaide Hills.

We offer premium tastings of our Award Winning Wines, complimented by seasonal produce from our hatted Restaurant. We are located in Lenswood, just 40 minutes from the Adelaide CBD

We are looking for a Tasting Room/Direct Sales Manager who will not only provide a unique experience for guests but also enhance our work environment.

Job tasks and responsibilities

As an experienced Tasting Room & Direct Sales Manager you will lead and develop our team and work closely with our Restaurant Manager and Head Chef to ensure our guests have exceptional experiences across the Venue.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day to day operations of the Tasting Room, leading the Tasting Room Sales Team and Direct to Consumer Sales, staff development, planning, cost management, administration and assisting with marketing and event management.

You will have a passion for wine, great customer service and the ability to teach and motivate staff. Weekend and Public Holiday work availability is essential to this role.

Skills and experience

Key to your success will be your demonstrated experience in the following areas:

• Effective roster and cost management
• Recruitment, training and performance management
• Significant experience in a similar role/industry
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate and develop a small team
• Calm and professional personality
• Excellent wine knowledge
• Experience with Wine Club Management desirable
• Experience in website maintenance preferred
• Experience using Shopify, Klayvio, Redcat, highly advantageous
