We are looking to fill a Senior Winemaker position at our Yenda Winery.

The Senior Winemaker will be a passionate, hands-on, and driven individual with five to ten years of experience preferably in large scale wineries.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Tertiary or equivalent degree in Winemaking or Oenology
• Demonstrated winemaking ability over five to ten years, in diverse operations, specialising in large scales wineries.
• Demonstrated success in winemaking and your own developed winemaking style.
• Ability to manage teams, including effective communication skills, a team player with effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently, managing your own workload and priorities.
• Show evidence of excellent supervision, organising and planning skills including use of computer systems.
• Demonstrate good presentation and communication skills.
• A practical understanding of running a large-scale winery on a profitable basis.

If successful you will provide technical direction, strategic planning, develop junior winemaking staff and provide leadership and support to the winemaking team, with a focus on quality always.
