About the Role 

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Cellar Hand to join our Winery team at our operation in Rutherglen, Victoria. Reporting to the Chief Winemaker, duties of the role include:

• Wine and juice handling operations to comply with our HACCP accredited winery procedures
• Vintage activities and various processing operations
• Carry out cleaning and sanitising of tanks and equipment
• Filtration and preparation of wine/juice
• Organise and maintain the Barrel Shed ensuring safe forklift operations and hygeine at all times
• Stock management of all additives and chemicals
• Cellar housekeeping and maintenance as required
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

About You

Whilst not essential, previous experience within the wine industry and relevant accredited training would be considered an advantage. The successful applicant must be committed and reliable, have the ability to work as a team member, be willing to learn new skills and have their own transport. All training will be provided by the company.
