Kilchurn Wines is a contract winemaking facility based in Romsey, Victoria. Located in the Macedon Ranges, about 1 hour from Melbourne. We are one of Australia's leading contract processing facilities for Traditional Method Sparkling production.

We have a full-time role available for a winemaker to join our small winemaking team. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the craft of sparkling winemaking in a busy winery.

The Winemaker will be involved in all aspects of the process, including vintage operations, tirage and table wine bottling, dosage trials, cellar and lab work, helping the team to ensure we’re producing the best Sparkling wines for all our clients.

Requirements

The successful Winemaker candidate will need to have:

• A tertiary qualification in Oenology (Winemaking) and previous experience as a winemaker
• Friendly personality and be a good communicator.
• Current Drivers licence and Forklift licence
• Good Computer skills and an understanding of Vintrace.
