About Us

Ozpak is a state of the art contract bottling facility located in central Victoria with a strong commitment to quality in the service it provides to its supplying wineries and customers.

Through a period of growth and capital investment a new position has become available for an Operations Manager.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager and responsible for managing all operations across the site you will be working closely with the department managers to ensure efficient and quality output. Managing the production, warehouse and maintenance departments it will be a fast-paced job that will require a strong commitment to organisation and process. Whilst managing these areas the role will also be required to maintain relationships between all internal teams.

The role will require data analysis and regular reporting to the General Manger regarding output, quality and OH&S.

The position will be responsible for the development, training and engagement of staff; facilitate performance appraisal discussions, coach and mentor staff as appropriate to improve performance.

About You

  • Experience in manufacturing management with the ability to develop best practice processes and systems.
  • High safety awareness and understanding.
  • Leadership experience.
  • People management and experience with conflict management.
  • Ability to foster motivation, teamwork and drive efficiencies between the departments.
  • High level of administrative, organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to identify operational improvements and influencing others to take part in driving change.
