Part Time/Casual and Vintage

Gill Estate is a family-owned and operated winery just outside of Mildura in the Sunraysia region. The Winery (previously known as Deakin Estate) produces our ‘Rivah’ wine range. Based along the Murray River, our climate is warm and sunny, the perfect environment for creating quality wine and fruit. We are passionate about wine and would love for you to be too when you join the Gill Estate team.

We are searching for Laboratory Personnel to join our fun and friendly team on a permanent part time basis and during vintage.

Key Duties you may perform:

• Perform and Maintain day to day operations of the laboratory.
• Collection of samples and conduct routine analysis – grape to glass.
• Preparation of Standard Solutions
• Calibration and Checks required for Quality Control
• Data Entry and interpretation
• Help drive compliance in OH&S, Quality, management systems and process improvements.

Skills and qualifications:

• Previous Wine Laboratory Experience – Essential
• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent computer, analytical and problem solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Current Drivers Licence
