We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Winery Maintenance person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in maintaining winery facilities, equipment, and machinery. We understand that our team is the most important part of our operation. You will be responsible for ensuring that our winery is operating safely and efficiently, and that our equipment is well-maintained and in good working order.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain winemaking and vineyard equipment in good working order, in accordance with schedule
Engage in and oversee as required the construction, maintenance and repair of all winery infrastructure, including buildings, fixtures, and grounds (not gardening)
Preventative and breakdown maintenance of all plant and equipment within the facility
Maintain maintenance registers and equipment maintenance schedules
Ensure compliance with all relevant WH&S regulations
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a winery maintenance role
Good understanding of winery equipment and machinery
Excellent problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures
An ideal candidate will have trade level qualification or similar in any of mechanical engineering, welding, electrical work, plumbing
