Fulltime and Vintage

Gill Estate is a family-owned and operated winery just outside of Mildura in the Sunraysia region. The Winery (previously known as Deakin Estate) produces our ‘Rivah’ wine range. Based along the Murray River, our climate is warm and sunny, the perfect environment for creating quality wine and fruit. We are passionate about wine and would love for you to be too when you join the Gill Estate team.

We are searching for Cellar Personnel to join our fun and friendly team.

Key Duties you may perform:

• Perform General Cellar Duties including transfers, additions.
• Operation of Machinery; Crusher, Press, Centrifuge, Filtration Units
• Winemaking Production Process including Grapes, Juice, Wine
• Maintain good Winery Hygiene and Cleanliness
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
• Help drive compliance in OH&S, Quality, management systems and process improvements.

Skills and qualifications:

• Previous Wine Industry Experience – Essential for Fulltime role, highly regarded for Vintage Roles
• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• High attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Current Drivers and Forklift Licence
