AVL currently has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Winemaker to join our Buronga Hill Winemaking team based in the Mildura region. The efficient and well-equipped Buronga Hill Winery has capacity to process everything from small premium fruit parcels to large scale winemaking and has technological capabilities such as Spinning Cone Column, Flash Detente and Electrodialysis.

Reporting to the Senior Red and Senior White Winemakers, the successful candidate will contribute and participate in Winemaking responsibilities for the group portfolio, including but not limited to;

• Vintage grape and juice processing.
• Ferment monitoring and processing.
• Blend determination, fining and maturation.
• Production planning and scheduling.
• Adherence to market compliance and specifications.
• Sharing of ideas around innovation and efficiencies.

Tertiary qualifications in Wine Science (or equivalent) and well-developed interpersonal and computer skills are essential. Experience in medium-large scale winemaking and with the Ezy Wine system preferred. Also critical to your success will be a willingness to become an integral and engaged member of the Australian Vintage Winemaking team.
