FULL TIME PERMANENT POSITION

Paulett Wines is looking to appoint a permanent full time, highly skilled, engaged, motivated and hands on winemaker to join our close knit team. We have approximately 142 acres of vines and 35 vintages under our belt with many international & national accolades on the shelf. The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall wine production from vineyard fruit assessment through to bottling. They will need to work alongside the Vineyard manager as well as have a sound knowledge and experience in quality grape production, understanding of viticultural practices and passion for winemaking is essential.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicant will meet the following requirements:

- hold the relevant tertiary qualification in Oenology;

- ideally over 4 years winemaking experience;

- sound technical winemaking skills;

- self-motivated with strong organisation, time management and planning skills;

- experience in the use of winemaking systems/software;

- experience in managing a team and ensuring an efficient flow of work;

- excellent communication, management skills and flexibility to work well in a small team

- ability to effectively liaise with members of the team;

- ability to work independently with a ‘hands on’ approach;

- ability to meet marketing and PR responsibilities;

- hold a current drivers, forklift license and RSA; - have an Australian citizenship/residency;
