Gill Estate is a family-owned and operated winery just outside of Mildura in the Sunraysia region. The Winery (previously known as Deakin Estate) produces our ‘Rivah’ wine range. Based along the Murray River, our climate is warm and sunny, the perfect environment for creating quality wine and fruit. We are passionate about wine and would love for you to be too when you join the Gill Estate team.

We are searching for Vintage Winemaker / Assistant Winemaker to join our fun and friendly team.

Key Duties you may perform:

• Maintain and complete daily vintage winemaking operations
• Maintaining wine management system (Vintrace)
• Adhere to Procedures and Policy’s ensuring all wines made to and meet Gill Estate Standards
• Help drive compliance in OH&S, Quality, management systems and process improvements.

Skills and qualifications:

• Previous Wine Industry Experience essential
• Previous Laboratory or Cellar experience highly regarded.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and good communication skills
• Current Drivers Licence
