Austin’s Wines are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and cooperative individuals to join our team as casual Cellar Hands for the 2020 Vintage.

About the Role

Working in the winery and looking to start in early February 2018, the duties of this role include:

• Fruit receival
• Wine transfers
• Winery hygiene
• Ad hoc winery tasks as directed by the winemaker

We’re a small team here at Austin’s so you’ll gain exposure to a variety of different winery tasks in this role.

Who we’re looking for

Applicants with previous vintage experience will be highly regarded, but if you have a passion for wine and / or an interest in gaining a foothold into the wine industry we will be more than happy to hear from you too.

Other qualities, experience and skills we’re looking for include:

• Positive energy and a can-do approach
• Follows direction accurately and to the expected standard
• Great work-ethic and dependable
• A forklift license would also be advantageous but not necessary.

Successful applicants are required to have their own transport and have the willingness to work shifts, including some weekends.
