We are seeking an experienced casual laboratory technician at our McLaren Vale winery to complete the team for Vintage 2022.

Position Requirements

You will be involved in all laboratory analyses, including new musts and vineyard maturity samples. The role also includes data entry and setting up sensory trials.

In the cellar, you will collect samples for analysis, be in communication with winemakers and cellar crew, and help look after some ferments, and other cellar work from time to time.

Requirements for the role are:

• Experience in a winery laboratory
• The ability to share a laugh, be competent, reliable, and self-motivated and display outstanding attention to detail
• A concern for wine quality and safe working practices
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Willingness to work extended shifts during the vintage period of February to April which may include night shifts
• Own transport essential

Remuneration is in accordance with experience and the Wine Industry Award 2021. Applications close 31/12/21.
