Southern Premium Vineyards (SPV) owns and operates wine grape vineyards in Australia’s finest and most productive wine grape regions including the Barossa Valley, Clare and Limestone Coast regions of South Australia and the Riverina in New South Wales. Established in 2021, SPV offers wine producers a grape supply solution for their wine grape sourcing as an alternative to owning or leasing vineyards. SPV is wholly owned by the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments) and sits within its Natural Resources Group.

SPV is seeking a Vineyard Supervisor to join our Vineyard team in Wrattonbully.

About the job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and capable “hands on” Vineyard Supervisor to be part of our vineyard management team.  Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, you will supervise operations and logistics on a day-to-day basis. The role is perfect for someone who has a genuine interest in viticulture and enjoys working outdoors. We are interested in candidates who are passionate about the wine industry and are willing to work hard.

About you:

You will be keen to utilise your experience and expertise in good viticulture management practices and have previous exposure to supervising staff and contractors, overseeing vineyard machinery operations, sprayer calibrations, machinery maintenance and the ability to deploy machinery and resources for harvest operations.

You are someone with a strong work ethic, organised with great time management, attention to detail, and a steadfast commitment to safety and product quality.

You will possess a qualification in Viticulture, Agriculture or similar, or you have extensive experience gained on the job in similar positions.  Training and support will be provided as is an excellent salary, benefits and tools of trade.
