Mount Majura Vineyard is a leading small vineyard and winery in the Canberra District, known for the quality of its single-vineyard wines. The Vineyard Manager has key responsibility for sustaining and improving the quality of our fruit and hence wine.

This is a hands-on position with responsibility for day-to-day operation of the 14 Ha vineyard, including safety and management of the Vineyard Hand, casual staff and contract labour. The successful applicant will work with the Winemaker as part of a small and innovative team.

The successful applicant will have good practical and mechanical skills and gets things done. They will have previous vineyard experience, be focused on the viticultural determinants of wine quality and be passionate about wine. Attention to detail is important, as is the ability to communicate clearly and work in a team.  The ability to plan, implement and record all vineyard activities is essential, and the position includes responsibility for general grounds maintenance. A degree in viticulture or similar is not required but will be an advantage.
