The Swinney vineyard is a family owned 243ha vineyard located in the Frankland River region of Western Australia. Swinney has developed an outstanding reputation as a long-term supplier of high-quality wine grapes to many of Western Australia’s premium wine producers as well as production of the family’s own Swinney wine label, which includes the acclaimed Farvie wines.

As the recent recipient of the inaugural ‘Young Gun of Wine – 2020 Australian Vineyard of the Year’ trophy, Swinney is recognised as combining both modern and Old-World viticultural techniques. These techniques are executed with precision through a combination of detailed manual work and state-of-the-art technology that are underpinned with an environmental focus.

An opportunity has become available for a Vineyard Manager to join our Frankland River team.

Job Requirements

The successful applicant oversees the day-day vineyard operations, staff & contractor management, water harvesting and operation of all vineyard machinery operations, ensuring cost efficient production of quality fruit.

We are looking for motivated and passionate person with strong leadership qualities who can manage a diverse team of scale. The Vineyard Manager will report directly to the General Manager.

An attractive level of remuneration will be provided reflecting the experience and qualifications of the applicant. Generous onsite accommodation and a fully maintained vehicle will be provided.
