Set among the rolling hills, on the banks of Greenock Creek at Seppeltsfield, Hentley Farm is a premium single estate vineyard and leading producer of single estate wines.

We are seeking a Vineyard Manager to join our team in the Barossa Valley on a full-time basis.  Reporting to our Chief Winemaker this role is integral in ensuring the quality of the fruit that our prized vineyard produces. The role involves the full cycle of vineyard management throughout the seasons including though not limited to:

Develop, implement and enhance sustainable vineyard programs including;

• Pest, disease and weed management
• Nutritional analysis
• Irrigation management
• Yield estimation
• Harvest

Other areas of responsibility include;

• Budget development and management
• Manage and train vineyard staff/vineyard crews
• Training/education of Hentley Farm staff where required
• Maintenance of vineyard equipment

This is a job for someone with good technical understanding and a desire to be hands on in the vineyard while showing great attention to detail in all areas of sustainable vineyard management. Ideally the successful candidate will possess the following;

• A Bachelor of Applied Science, Viticultural Science or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate computer skills
• At least 3 years vineyard management experience
