About us:  Mt Bera is a growing single vineyard cool-climate grower and producer of premium wines. With expanding operations through our Mt Bera Cellar Door and Restaurant, we have a growing range of varietals in our vineyards draped over the steep hills along the Torrens Gorge.

About the role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person to fill a full-time role within our Vineyard team near Gumeracha. This is a hands-on role that will require an understanding of a range of vineyard activities, to assist in the development and maintenance of the vineyards. Winery experience will also be viewed favourably.

This role may include some overseeing of contractor staff in day-to-day activities.

• Vineyard Machinery Operations – tractors and implements
• General vine maintenance
• Pruning
• Hand picking
• Irrigation Repairs/Operations
• Organic Soil Management Operations
• Organic Spraying
• Pest and disease monitoring

Skills & Experience:

• Self-motivated
• Farm / Viticulture or Horticultural Experience
• Pruning experience
• Fencing and vineyard establishment experience
• Tractor and crawler operations
• Drivers Licence
• Chemical Users Certificate
• Forklift License desirable
• Truck License desirable

A remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant. There is also a possibility of accommodation on site.
