KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Involved in the production and supervision of the following tasks: vintage and non vintage
- Winemaking production
- Blending and maturation
- Juice production
- Storage of wine
- Production of commercial and premium winemaking
- Provide leadership and technical direction to the winemaking team
- Co-ordinate and control the production of wine to ensure volume and quality are met
- Assist with vintage crush plan and fruit intake schedule
- Involved in strategic planning of site winemaking operations
- Ensures legislative compliance, WHS, EEO and Environment
- Ensure policy compliance –quality, management systems and process improvements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Oenology
- 5-10 years winemaking experience
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Computer skills, human relations skills, problem solving skills and influencing skills
