About the role

A newly created role has been identified to drive the sales function of Ikara Estates first boutique winery acquisition in the picturesque Barossa Valley.  This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer and work closely with the General Manager Wine & Beverage and Marketing Manager. To attract the right candidate, this position is open to either full or part time applicants based in Barossa Valley and Kent Town South Australia.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with the leadership team to be bold, progressive and innovative
  • Work closely with the leadership team to identify market trends, refine product offerings and set pricing strategy
  • Work closely with the leadership team on due diligence for new potential investments as directed by leadership
  • Proactively identify and manage domestic and international distribution relationships across channels.
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure the cellar door offerings drive sales
  • Be actively involved in identifying strategies to increase profitability
