Who do you know? Seeking an experienced sales driver for the USA!


We seek a driven,and passionate wine sales professional, with a proven strong network and knowledge of the USA wine marketplace to drive sales for an Australia top tier premium wine business.


Our client is an impressive Yarra Valley winery estate producing an exquisite portfolio of premium fine wines. Reporting to the General Manager, the role will be based in the USA and requires a candidate with a successful,strong track record of building premium wine brands.


You will use your knowledge and network to build and drive the strategy to further grow and develop relationships within the high- end USA retail and hospitality and corporate (B2C/B2B) sectors.


This role requires an energetic and self-motivated person, who has superior commercial acumen,marketing flair,  and an entrepreneurial spirit, as well as a passion for fine wine.


Key responsibilities:


  • Develop a sustainable USA model 
  • Establish distribution partners 
  • Significantly increase the sales of the brand in the US
  • Foster relationships with major USA distributors,- to achieve the company’s strategy, plans and sales targets
  • Develop and implement a Sales and Marketing Strategy in line with brand DNA and company vision, targets and timelines
  • Develop and implement the brand and channel strategy, and develop business plans and budgets
  • Manage all aspects of sales and commercial operations of the business, account managers, 3PLs - meeting KPIs, expenditure and budgets
  • Attend wine shows, events, tastings and other engagements on behalf of the brand 


The successful applicant must have the following:


  • A proven successful sales achievement in the US premium wine market.
  • Extensive knowledge of, and a passion for fine wine and a love of Australian wine.
  • Ability to work autonomously, be hands on and resourceful.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Very high level of attention to detail.
