About Bleasdale: Established in 1850, Bleasdale is a renowned and historic winery seeking to continue its transformation as a modern wine brand. With a number of high-profile trophies in recent years, including 2024 Halliday Winery of the Year, Bleasdale has never been making better wine, and the goal is to continue spreading this message far and wide.

Key Objectives of this Role:

  • To increase sales in the domestic market to achieve sales and volume growth in line with the Bleasdale Vineyards Strategic Marketing Plan
  • To increase brand awareness through marketing objectives such as social media, advertising, events and sales opportunities
  • To create and maintain the Brand proposition and values

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and implement promotional calendars to increase engagement and sales; including producing and sending eDMs, working with the Cellar Door Manager to create on-site activations, and working with the Wine Club Coordinator to improve member engagement
  • Oversee new product development and existing product upgrades and alterations, including working with external designers and label producers
  • Work with Corporate Partners to execute partnership deliverables, including activations at events, communications and offers to subscriber lists, and hosting at the winery
  • Develop and execute Marketing and Brand plans
  • Conduct market analysis and communicate with the General Manager regarding insights and observations
  • Manage and maintain company website and back-end systems
  • Design and develop marketing materials, including for print, social media and online use
  • Manage company social media accounts and create content as required
  • Management and coordination of winery events, including warehouse sales, staff events, and cellar door events
  • Spend time in trade with key accounts to build relationships and business
  • Maintain media and trade contact databases for press engagement, and work with the Senior Winemaker to conduct regular communications
  • Prepare and send Press Releases as required
  • Other duties as required

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Confidence in analysing market data
  • Ability to problem solve and show initiative
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) essential
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher
  • Confidence with creating both aesthetically pleasing and well-written content
  • A passion for wine and enthusiasm for selling wine
  • Holds or is willing to obtain an RSA certificate
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or related fields
  • Previous experience in a senior marketing position advantageous

Hours: Full-time, 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, some occasional weekend work may be required around events

Renumeration package: Negotiable based on experience

Location: Based at the Bleasdale winery in Langhorne Creek, SA. A portion of working from home is possible as agreed with the General Manager.
