Delatite Winery has been a pioneer in organic, bio-dynamic viticulture and cool climate winemaking at Mansfield in Victoria’s high country for over 50 years. Over the past two years, we have invested in the building of a new cellar door and restaurant with stunning views of Mount Buller. Despite the COVID affected stops and starts the Delatite Restaurant has quickly earned an excellent reputation for integrated food and wine experiences.

Importantly, increased visitation is driving recruitment to our Summit Club and good growth in our overall direct-to-consumer sales, so much so that high Estate sales are leading to allocations of wine to wholesale channels.

As we now emerge from COVID restrictions we are looking for an experienced General Manager to help us establish our brand as both an epicurean and hospitality destination of choice in regional Victoria, and a sustainable wine brand. Customer-facing hospitality management experience is essential. Tourism and brand marketing experience is highly desirable. We require strong leadership, and the ability to set and execute standards of service, and galvanize front of house, the kitchen, and the winery into one effective and mutually respectful team.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Proprietor on management of the Vineyard and Winery, and also be part of the planning for an accommodation development on the site.

An attractive salary will be negotiated reflecting the successful candidate’s skills and experience. Accommodation is available on site close to one of Victoria's most vibrant regional communities located between Lake Eildon and Mt Buller; approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne.
