THE COMPANY
Zilzie wines are a leading Australian family owned wine company with their winery based in Mildura VIC.

THE ROLE
This role is suitable for an Experienced Winemaker. With a minimum of seven years’ experience as a Winemaker and relevant wine making qualifications, this position will give you the chance to bring your experience in either large or small wineries, cool or warm climate and possibly large volume commercial wine making processes to this fantastic wine making team.

This role is a senior position, reporting to the Senior Winemaker, and as such you will be required to mentor staff and help to lead improvements in style and innovation, encouraging a vision of excellence in all aspects of wine making.
 
THE REQUIREMENTS
The person for this role will have the following key attributes:
• A degree in Oenology or equivalent
• A passion for and understanding of wine, experience in premium wine making
• At least 7-10 years of wine making experience (preferably in a medium to large winery)
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Experience with EZY systems
• Proven organisational skills and an ability to prioritise workload
• Viticultural knowledge
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
