Westralian Nominees Pty Ltd operates several large-scale Vineyards, in the Margaret River Wine region, close to the major population base of Busselton.

Westralian Nominees Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Vineyard Machinery Operator to join its Team operating the company’s vineyards. This is a permanent hands-on role within the management of the vineyards.

Opportunities to progress within the group

Some specific areas of operation include the following: -

• Operate safely tractors and machinery, including sprayers, trimmers, mowers, and harvesters
• Operate and monitor the vineyard, irrigation system
• Maintain and renew Vines, Trellis, and the Irrigation system
• Canopy manipulation
• Maintain the properties with a view to improve the presentation
• Operate within all safety and statutory regulations

We anticipate that the role will require proactive thinking with sound decision making and the skills to operate a commercial vineyard including:

• Experience with machinery operation and preferable Vineyard Management
• Sound mechanical knowledge
• The ability to operate independently whilst communicating with others
• A current driver license
• Desirable: Forklift Licence, Chem-cert accreditation and first aid training
