Are you an experienced CPA or CA qualified accountant with a passion for reporting, performance analysis, budgeting, and operational support? We are seeking a collaborative individual with at least 5 years of expertise, with a sound knowledge of SAP B1 software viewed as highly advantageous but not essential (dependent on IT acumen). As a key player on the team, you'll need proficiency to support the financial management of various business areas and brand locations. We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail, practical mindset, and team player attitude.

While not essential, experience and knowledge of the wine industry will give you a head start in this role.

Reporting directly to the Business Manager and CEO, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Provide input and support to the strategic growth and development of the business.
  • Prepare financial reports, including sales performance against budget, cost of goods, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and inter-entity consolidation.
  • Oversee the budget process and other forecasting requirements to drive commercial sustainability and foster informed decision-making.
  • Manage payroll, superannuation and leave liability.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow and provide accurate cashflow forecasts.
  • Create and deliver insightful commentary, analysis, and reports on the company's performance to the management team.
  • Manage wine taxation and ATO reporting requirements.
  • Work with the business manager to ensure optimal alignment of ERP systems, including SAP B1 software.
  • Supervise finance team members.
  • Proactively seek improvement in finance management processes, efficiencies, analysis and planning.

Our preference is to engage a resident of the southwest region; however, we are open to applicants from Perth under the provision that they be willing to undertake regular travel as required for the role.
