 Our Role

This role is responsible for carrying out day to day duties as directed by the Vineyard Manager/Supervisor or any other designated manager in accordance with Company and Industry Standards.

Core Responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of vineyard equipment including tractors, spray and tillage equipment, slashers, graders, pruning equipment and ATV's.
• Safe handling, mixing and application of chemicals.
• Manual work will be required, including but not limited to pruning (manual and machine), vine training and general trellis and irrigation maintenance.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Basic viticulture operational knowledge
• Previous experience in horticulture and/or agriculture.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• A solid understanding of WH&S requirements.
• Knowledge of machinery, basic mechanics, spray programmes, irrigation and harvesting.
• Knowledge of operation and technicalities of vineyard equipment.
• It will also be highly regarded the demonstration of horticulture studies and valid chemical and high risk/forklift certificates.
