Geoff Johnston Wines Pty Ltd, trading as Pirramimma was established in 1892 and is currently owned and managed by Geoff Johnston and his family. Located close to the picturesque township of McLaren Vale, Pirramimma continues in the tradition of producing high quality grapes and superior wines which have over many years gained both national and international acclaim. The Company’s 136 hectares of vineyards are located in McLaren Vale and Kuitpo in the Adelaide Hills.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Cellar Door Sales Team person to join the team at McLaren Vale and in order to attract the right person offer flexible hours where possible.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Deliver an exceptional and professional cellar door experience
• Promote Pirramimma wines, wine club and Johnston family history
• Undertake daily house - keeping tasks
• Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels
• Pick, pack and dispatch wines as required
• Represent the brand at trade and consumer events
• Introduce new event ideas designed to promote the brand

Candidates:

If you have a passion for wine and the ability to portray the history of Pirramimma and communicate effectively with people at all levels, this role is for you. Remuneration and hours will be negotiated with the successful candidate which includes the opportunity to work regular or casual hours. In addition to working at Cellar Door, there is a requirement for the successful candidate to spend at least one day a week hosting events, delivering stock to local customers and establishing new markets in the near vicinity.

Flexibility and the ability to work on weekends and public holidays is a key element in this role. A current driver’s license and Responsible Service of Alcohol(RSA) Certificate is a prerequisite.
