Brothers at War Wines began in 2013 with a tonne of grapes and two brothers’ vision to create world class wines with unique expression, specialling is wines from the Eden Valley, Barossa. Since then, Brothers at War has become a multi/award winning winery, growing its reputation domestically and internationally.  

This is a unique opportunity to join the small dynamic Brothers at War team with their next venture. The Brothers at War cellar door is due to open in August/September.
 
The ideal candidate will have:
 
Demonstrated experience in managing a cellar door or hospitality environment;

  • Demonstrate passion for Brothers AtWar wines as well as the Barossa region;
  • Exceptional customer service skills;
  • Excellent communication skills, time management, organisational, IT and administrative skills;
  • Current RSA qualifications; and
  • Willing and available to work weekends.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Duties and responsibilities will include:
 

  • Willing and available to work weekends.
  • Provide exceptional customer service whilst maximising sales;
  • Leading by example ensuring high standards are always met;
  • Knowledge of the Barossa region and its offeringsto visitors;
    Knowledge of Australian fine wine varietals and styles;
  • Database management;
  • Management of cellar door operations including, setting,and achieving budgets;
  • Identifying opportunities to drive visitation and sales and enhance the cellar door experience;
  • Manage and driving incentives for Wine Club sign ups at cellar door;
  • Ensuring cellar door presentation standards are always maintained to a high level;
  • Managing all digital marketing channels including mail out, Instagram and Facebook;
  • Event management;
  • Actively developing supplementary sales opportunities in conjunction with other departments as appropriate;
  • Continual review of operations to ensure we are maximising our opportunities;
  • Stock control and inventory management to ensure stock integrity;
  • Timely financial reporting and analysis of cellar door performance; and
  • Leading, training and motivating the cellar door team including rostering and managing staff performance.
