Jim Barry Wines is looking for an experienced and motivated applicant to lead our internationally renowned cellar door in Clare.
This is a hands on role and the successful applicant will lead by example in retail sales, have strong marketing and administration experience, exceptional organisational ability, have a friendly personality and proven success in generating direct to consumer sales and managing a busy cellar door and/or retail sales outlet.
The role includes responsibility for:
- Driving sales growth
- Motivate and inspire the team to consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Delivery of wine tastings to individuals and groups
- Managing overall Cellar Door performance
- Daily end of day reports and weekly reporting
- Promoting a high performance culture and managing staff
- Exceptional daily Cellar Door presentation
- Stock management
- Coordination with our Marketing and Sales teams
Prerequisites for the position include:
- strong wine knowledge and industry experience
- demonstrated success in leading a team
- well-developed sales skills
- strong leadership, people management and communication abilities
- computer literacy and experience with POS systems
- administrative skills
