CELLAR DOOR HOSTS

Visiting the Henschke Cellar Door is one of the most captivating wine experiences in the Barossa. We offer premium tasting experiences that showcase our exceptional wines and immerse guests in over 150 years of family winemaking history. Reporting to our Cellar Door Manager, we are seeking highly motivated, engaging and energetic candidates with a passion for outstanding customer service, a good palate and a genuine love of wine.

Candidates will have strong wine knowledge and be able to confidently engage with guests. You will be a great storyteller and appreciate the unique heritage of Henschke.

For those looking for opportunities to diversify and grow, you may also be trained to provide support to our Brand Ambassador & Hospitality team.

Our Brand Ambassador & Hospitality team manage trade visits and VIP experiences, specialising in guiding guests through a more personalised journey – with rare access to our world renowned vineyards, guided tours of our historic working winery, and private tastings of our most precious single-vineyard wines.

Key qualities and experience:

• Motivated and committed, with outstanding personal presentation;
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills;
• Positive disposition and the ability to work well within a team;
• Cellar Door and hospitality/events experience;
• WSET level 1 and 2 accreditation is preferred.

Candidates must be flexible with working hours, including the availability to work Saturdays. Casual positions are on offer with a view for permanency for the right person.
