We have a new and exciting job opportunity as a Business Development Manager, working alongside a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated team in a progressive family business.

Pindarie Wines are located on the picturesque Western Ridge of the Barossa Valley. We are committed to providing exceptional wines to consumers across the globe, alongside unforgettable experiences at our cellar door. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to work alongside our team as we drive continual growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

As Business Development Manager, you will represent Pindarie Wines in a professional manner, taking an omni-channel approach to drive business growth through Business Development operations, all while staying true to the Company’s core values. We have plans to grow, making success in this role paramount.

This is a dynamic position, with no two days being the same. Your time will be spent across various departments of the business, however your key focus will be on:

  • Identify, develop, drive, and maintain strong business partnerships with distributors, and retailers, both nationally and internationally.
  • Work strategically alongside owners to develop a new business plan and model.
  • Business planning, budgeting, and sales forecasting.
  • Driving monthly business planning meetings, with preparation of relevant reports.
  • Develop, execute and manage domestic and international sales strategies.
  • Formulate and manage the execution of brand plans and new product development.
  • Work alongside the cellar door team to continually improve our offering and customer experience.
  • Represent Pindarie at Trade shows, support Cellar door on occasion as part of immersing yourself in the brand and our offering, as well as various other trade missions when required.

  • Exceptional wine knowledge with the ability to clearly evaluate and describe wine styles and grape varieties.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite with strength in excel.
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar.
  • Experience in wine sales, marketing, and business commerce.
  • Skilled in managing others, being a leader in their field, but works well in a team.
  • Knowledge of Pindarie history and their story.
  • Considerable industry knowledge with a good understanding of the competitors in the wine sector, both locally and nationally.

If you are to be successful, you must be able to demonstrate success in selling, brand building, relationship management, and business growth, having previously shined as a Sales or Business Development Manager within the alcohol or wine industry. Salary package to be negotiated with the successful candidate and will be commensurate with experience.
