An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and passionate Winemaker to join our team in the role of  Assistant Winemaker based at our Riverland Winery.

Reporting to the Customer Services Winemaker, this full-time position is responsible for assisting the Winemaking team to produce a large portfolio of wines for both domestic and international customers.

Key responsibilities of this position include coordinating the dispatch of quality wines with a high level of efficiency and attention to detail through the effective management of wine operations, quality monitoring procedures and record keeping. The role will also assist with vintage operations, wine allocation, stabilisation and blend preparation. This position will suit you if you possess excellent planning, organisational, logistical and communication skills and seek to be part of a dynamic team that strives to continually improve wine quality, efficiency and service.

To be successful in this role you will hold a degree in Oenology, Wine science or other relevant tertiary qualification, have a sound understanding of Australian wine styles and knowledge of quality control principles and practices in relation to wine production. Previous winemaking or vintage experience would be considered an advantage.
