Norfolk Rise is a family-owned business running a 150-hectare vineyard and 1,200 tonne state of the art winery situated by the coast in the beautiful Mt Benson wine region.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Vineyard Manager/Viticulturist to join our small team and have a real impact in creating high quality cool climate fruit with a focus on sustainability and excellence.

Reporting to our Vineyard Manager, we are looking for someone who has at least 2 years’ vineyard experience, with, or working towards, a qualification in viticulture. A passion for viticulture and keeping up to date with the latest technology and research is essential, as Norfolk Rise is embarking on a new journey, focussing on making the best wines we can from our award-winning vineyard.

The Assistant Manager will be involved in all aspects of the vineyard including administration, record keeping, vine management and fruit production, engaging consultants, managing customers and vineyard visits, and general maintenance.

The successful candidate will have knowledge in viticulture along with the ability to lead in a hands-on manner whilst collaborating effectively with the vineyard, winemaking and management teams. They will have excellent leadership and communication skills.
