Deviation Road is a winery and cellar door located on a 100 acre property in the Adelaide Hills. We are looking to employ a handy allrounder who has experience operating agricultural machinery plus assist with grounds and maintenance labour.

The position will initially be 2-3 days per week casual work, with the potential to become permanent part time for the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITY OVERVIEW

• Maintenance and use of machinery for slashing, chain saw, brush cutter, lawn mower
• General property maintenance including irrigation and weed control
• Maintaining cellar door grounds and supply of gas and wood
• Responsible for recycling and general rubbish disposal
• Logistics of stock between Longwood and Ashton storage plus other deliveries as required (driving tray truck, car license ok)

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Forklift license and experience
• Tractor driving experience
• Driver’s license (manual vehicles)
• Practical machinery skills (maintenance and operation)
• Familiarity with OH&S, and agricultural safety equipment and practices.
