Elderton Wines

Elderton Wines is a small family owned winery producing high quality wines from Estate owned vineyards around the Barossa & Eden Valley.

Our small team is based in Nuriootpa and we are looking for four motivated vintage Cellar Hands & one motivated vintage Laboratory Assistant to complete our 2021 harvest team. The team would assemble early to mid-February and dependent upon workload be a part of the team until mid-end of April.

The successful Cellar Hand applicants will work closely with our full-time Cellar Hand and report directly to the Winemaker. Duties encompass all areas of production from vineyard through to bottling dispatch.

The successful vintage Laboratory Assistant will work closely with the Winemaker to ensure timely and accurate analysis and will also be involved with cellar duties as time permits.

Ideal candidates will have the following;
• Previous vintage cellar and/or laboratory experience
• Ability to work in a small team or independently
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Be hard working, physically fit and punctual
• A sense of fun and positive can-do attitude

A current driver’s license and forklift license would also be highly desirable

On site, self-contained accommodation is also available
