Charlie is Paracombe’s wine woofa. He’s a Maremma flock guardian dog, a large, noble breed that’s been around for over 2,000 years. His, big-hearted personality matches his size and warms the heart of everyone he meets. As Paracombe owners, Paul and Kathy Drogemuller’s pet he has an important role being the chief meeter and greeter for cellar door visitors and thrives on all the pats and attention he can get before people enter the winery. He’s responsible for supervising picking and pruning in the vineyard. He loves the limelight and often features on Paracombe’s socials relishing being the brand ambassador.
