Polly

Polly the maremma is a rescue dog from Maremma Rescue VIC and the RSPCA Geelong prior. She spends winter as the sheep guard keeping foxes at bay while the sheep do a thorough vineyard cleanup. When not seeking out furry intruders, Polly can be found waiting for visitors to announce and escort into the Cellar Door. During vineyard inspections or just vineyard maintenance tasks she will be out there ensuring our safety and pursuing those pesty rabbits. Closer to vintage she takes checking fruit quality seriously with a rigorous sniffing program and takes samples at optimal flavour development.
