Maggie May & Puppy Alba

2021 has been a big year for Vinea Marson’s resident winedog- Brittany Spaniel Maggie May. From overseeing construction of the new winery before a crazy vintage, Maggie worked hard before taking maternity leave. Mindful to not interrupt Cellar Door operations, she gave birth to 7 puppies from 6pm on Saturday 21 May. Named after Barolo & Barbaresco vineyards – Gaia, Stella, Rocco, Lorenzo (Enzo), Alba, Teodoro (Teo) & Pora – kept mum & the winery team busy. Chaos ensued, but Maggie remained calm throughout, and is now joined by Puppy Alba in the winery. She’s TopDog & TopMum in one!
