An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, electrically oriented Maintenance Manager to join our Barossa based team. The role has a broad maintenance content with the key focus on electrical and electronic maintenance/development. A sound understanding of pump and general plant maintenance is desirable. In addition, your background will see you involved in process improvement with an input in manufacture. You may be required to travel interstate and provide maintenance services to VA Filtration and Memstar equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing electrical, instrumentation and PLC / HMI maintenance support to the business.
Manage a broad preventative and routine maintenance system for all plant and equipment
Problem solve and rectify equipment and plant faults, often under tight timeframes.
Compliance with all internal and external Welfare, Health and Safety standards is essential.
An ability to work under pressure and possession of good communication skills will see you succeed in this role.
Experience is important – you must have developed technical and analytical skills and have an understanding of equipment reliability concepts.
Tertiary Engineering or relevant Trade qualification, plus a minimum of 3 years management / supervisory experience in a production field is mandatory.
You will have an uncompromising approach to safety, quality and the environment.
Intermediate computer literacy, including engineering & maintenance database applications are desirable. Knowledge or experience working with continuous improvement systems is also desirable, as is a working knowledge of AutoCAD.
High Risk licenses preferred but not essential for the successful candidate.
