Job Summary:Show your love of wine internationally! A leading family owned Wine merchant is looking for an Export Manager to develop and manage the profitable sales in Asian and emerging markets.
Great opportunity to join an very well respected Wine entity. The preferred location for this position based in Sydney.
Reporting to the Regional Manager - Asia Pacific and Emerging markets, this role involves the development and maintenance of sales, marketing and promotional strategies of the specified regions. This position requires customer relationship management skills to be demonstrated with local partners and distributors alike. You will plan, implement and manage budgets and financial objectives with these partners. As Export Manager, you will also perform post-program analysis and reports on export promotions for specified markets.
These specified regions are Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, South Asia, Middle East/Africa, India and China (which will be co-managed). The role includes travelling to these markets four times a year to ensure the Group’s global brand guidelines are adhered to, manage and motivate distributors, evaluate market/sales trends and provide training and on-ground support.
The following skills and experience are essential.
- 5 – 7 years Wine Industry experience.
- Proven success in a business development role (preferably international).
- Min 3 years business experience in Asian markets.
- Ability to travel extensively.
- Excellent presentation skills, highly developed negotiation skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Brand or Trade Marketing Experience
- University degree.
