Located in the world-famous Langhorne Creek, land of the Ngarrindjeri people and one of Australia’s oldest wine regions.

A premier contract processing winery where we partner with our clients in our mutual appreciation in the art of winemaking and the passion to produce the unique and premium wines.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Due to internal restructuring, we are looking for an additional experienced and fun winemaker to join our team.

Based at our winery in Langhorne Creek you will be working as a part of our small team to support our clients in making their wine with us. With approximately 25 different clients, you will be sharing the responsibilities within the team to meet their winemaking outcomes by providing winemaking directions through the workflow into the cellar.

With a variety of different types of clients, the level of interaction varies from following specific detailed instructions from world recognised brands and winemakers through to total autonomy based on market styles.

Having to deal with many types of clients and personalities is an important part of the role and you’ll need to have the personality type that can accommodate this.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Some of the key job requirements are:

  • Want to be a part of a team and enjoys what they do.
  • Positive personality that has a “can do” approach.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, with the ability to demonstrate sound winemaking skills.
  • Able to work vintage hours, including shift work when required.
  • Understanding of Vintrace system or a high aptitude for winery management systems preferable.
  • An understanding of winery work health and safety.
  • A desire to participate in sustainable practices.
  • All applicants must have Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship, this is a full-time position and temporary visa workers need not apply.

A remuneration package, will be dependent on the applicant’s relevant experience.
