We require vintage cellar hands to be part of our production team over the 2020 vintage period commencing in February. Reporting directly to the Winemaker you will be responsible for fruit intake, fermentation management, CIP, picking, dispatch, barrel and cellar operations as well as in the vineyard for fruit sampling. The role requires access to your own transportation as well as shift work.
This position is ideal if you’re looking to develop your practical winemaking skills across the whole range of winery operations and across a range of wine styles.
The successful applicants will be a reliable, self-motivated person, willing to work to high standards with a small team. Previous lab / cellar / forklift experience and understanding of the winemaking process is preferable.
The winery is located in Virginia, on the northern outskirts of Adelaide’s metropolitan area.
