Description

Join Cherubino Wines as the new Vineyard Manager for their Frankland River vineyards (110 Ha), a region recognised for producing Western Australia’s highest quality red wines. Working with a premium producer at the forefront of innovative viticulture, this is an opportunity to be part of the leadership team driving excellence and continual improvement.

Reporting to the Regional Viticulturist (Great Southern), this is a hands-on role that will manage the Riversdale and Acacia vineyards in Frankland River. The Vineyard Manager will be responsible for all day-to-day operations, team leadership, financials, planning and sustainability commitments.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in viticulture, applied science, agriculture science or equivalent discipline
  • Track record of excellence in high-end viticulture and vineyard management
  • Agribusiness management experience
  • Experience with sustainable farming practices preferred
  • Understanding and ambition for fine wine culture and brands
  • Chemical Users Certificate and/or Chemical Accreditation Course
  • Experience operating machinery and equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Constructive leadership style
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive & solutions-based approach
  • Operational efficiency and planning skills
  • Physically capable of performing active duties
  • Capacity for light domestic travel
  • Valid driver’s licence
