Philip Shaw Wines is based in beautiful Orange NSW. We are a small family operated company with a focus on producing classic cool climate styles of wine of the highest quality.

Vineyard Supervisor

The role will cover our 4 sites with an area approximately 96ha, whilst primarily based out of our 45ha Koomooloo Vineyard, 15 minutes outside of Orange, NSW.   We are after a motivated and enthusiastic addition to the team to supervise and perform operations in a hands-on manner.  You will be tasked with assisting the Viticulturist in enacting the day-to-day work programs to ensure they are completed efficiently and safely.  This role would be suited to an experienced vineyard hand who wishes to take the next step in their career.  Tertiary qualifications would be beneficial, however are not essential for the role.

Reporting to the Viticulturist, your duties will include:

• Supervision of vineyard staff and contractors
• Machinery operations, including fungicide and herbicide application
• Canopy management operations
• Harvest operations
• Trellis repairs and maintenance and redevelopment
• Compliance with company policies and WHS measures

Some desirable attributes for the applicant to possess include:

• Experience as a senior operator/supervisor in a viticultural/horticultural environment, particularly in a cool climate
• Mechanical aptitude
• Excellent organizational skills
• Chemcert Certification
• Forklift Licence
• First Aid Training

An attractive remuneration will be negotiated depending on experience and qualifications.
