Geoff Johnston Wines Pty Ltd, trading as Pirramimma was established in 1892 and is currently owned and managed by Geoff Johnston and his family. Located close to the picturesque township of McLaren Vale, Pirramimma continues in the tradition of producing high quality grapes and superior wines which have over many years gained both national and international acclaim. The Company’s 120 hectares of vineyards are located in McLaren Vale and Kuitpo in the Adelaide Hills.

 Reporting to the Managing Director, the Company is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced manager to oversee the day to day operations of the estate grown vineyards. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to pruning, spraying, irrigation, harvesting operations, staff and contractor management, general plant and equipment operation and maintenance and working closely with the winemaking team.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability manage a small team, working within budgets, health and safety knowledge, communication skills, a hands on approach and possess a flexible and practical approach to vineyard operations.

Tertiary qualifications in viticulture/agriculture or related together with experience in vineyard/farm management will be highly regarded. A salary package commensurate with skills, experience, qualifications and background will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
