Vineyard Assistant Manager - Full Time

• Vineyard Assistant Manager
• Responsible for allocated vineyard operations
• Good communicator
• Able to use mobile phone for texting and photos
• Driver’s licence
• Ability to work independently

The successful candidate will work with general direction from our Vineyard Manager

To be a successful assistant manager in our team you will need to demonstrate some vineyard management experience and, most importantly, you will:

• Enjoy being outdoors and like having a red hot go at fixing something that may be broken.
• Learn quickly, you rarely need to be shown how to do things more than once.
• Attend to things as you see them.
• Respond well to demands on your time and generally work at a brisk pace.
• Willingly follow directions and follow through with attention to detail.
• Trust established processes of doing things, but also consider if things can be improved.

To fulfill the role you will be required to do some overtime and weekend work, seasonally dependent. The normal work times are 8:00am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Salary and remuneration

 Salary including annual leave, and superannuation, is negotiable based on the person’s capability and experience. Annual review will be conducted with a potential performance bonus.

A 3 bedroom house on the property with its own fenced yard and driveway is available if required.

 The use of a fully maintained and fuelled vehicle is available for business use.
