Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for establishing and developing new business relationships with prospective VAF Memstar customers, take ownership of delivering the annual sales plan, sales pipeline and sales activity, consistent with the business objectives. You’ll be both servicing existing customers and hunting for new customers, with up to 75% of your time being spent on the road managing sales calls that result in real outcomes. With a focus on SA, NSW and Victoria’s wine regions, you will schedule and manage your time, working independently to service your customers, including organising on-site trials to demonstrate the technology’s capabilities.
Who you are
You are motivated by establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships and by delivering on targets. You will have sound commercial sense and an understanding of winemaking. You may be a winemaker looking for a change; or someone who has been around wine and winemaking, with a sound palate and a love for the business. Most importantly, you will be deeply committed to delivering value for your customers by understanding their challenges and by matching our products and services to support them.
You relish being accountable for outcomes, have an appetite for chasing sales, and love to work independently.
Ideally, you will be based in the Barossa or willing to relocate.
