Responsible for direction of the Bleasdale South Australia, Western Australia, & Northern Territory sales within our distribution network of the company’s range of products.
KEY OBJECTIVES:
- To manage and build on relationships with our key customers in conjunction with our distribution partner (including ALM, IBA, Sip n Save, Fassina Liquor, Drakes Liquor, Liquor Barons and other independents and banners)
- To increase sales in the domestic market whilst achieving sales volume/value growth in line with the Bleasdale Vineyards strategic marketing brand plans and trade spend parameters.
- To represent Bleasdale Vineyards in a positive manner at all times
- To work with all Bleasdale Vineyards staff to enhance a positive company culture.
- To identify sales opportunities and elevate the Bleasdale Vineyards brand position within our distributor’s network, within the trade and the marketplace generally.

Responsibilities Domestic Sales Engagement:
- Work with the national distributor to build relationship and sales through winning “hearts and minds” of sales staff and customers.
- Develop plans to improve customer engagement.
- Spend time in trade with key accounts, building relationships via mutual business growth and brand elevation opportunities.
- Set up a calendar for ride with days with distributor reps.
- Meet with distributors head office and management to review business and develop strategic business plans for all major accounts including sales and marketing plans for the On & Off trade.
- Conduct wine tastings and staff training on products as required with key trade.
- Represent Bleasdale at wine dinners & events when required.
- Identify merchandising and branding opportunities.
- Continually identify and develop new business within territory.
- Organize and host visits to the winery for customers of Bleasdale Vineyards.
- Assist sales within the on-line channel.
- Prepare samples to be sent for tasting panels and other opportunistic customers.
- Develop innovative and creative ideas to grow sales.
- Actively assist in debtor management and build relationships with all account functions.
Responsibilities General & Reporting:
- Conduct market analysis and intel and communicate back with the General Manager on a regular basis.
- Ensure the tools of trade, price lists, trading terms, product reviews, promotional programs are in place and provided to relevant distributor partners and Bleasdale sales staff.
- Provide reports in a timely manner as required, including a weekly and monthly report for the General Manager.
- Create a sales and expense budget as agreed with the General Manager.
- Work on specific projects and other duties as required
- Some Export assistance and travel may be required at times
